Ash & Thorne is a creative direction and branding studio founded by Jay Harris and Aikaterini Paraskevopoulou. We work differently from the traditional agency model, partnering closely with independent, ambitious and culturally conscious brands to build identities with clarity, character and purpose. Our practice brings together creative direction, visual identity, filmmaking, cultural research and trend insight. We believe thoughtful creative work should be accessible beyond large companies and large budgets and that the best brands are built through collaboration, conversation and a clear point of view. Jay Harris is a Creative Director, filmmaker and Senior Lecturer in Creative Direction & Curation for Fashion at Nottingham Trent University, with over a decade of experience across art direction, film, campaigns and visual identity. His creative practice spans fashion, culture and visual storytelling. Aikaterini Paraskevopoulou is a Creative Director, graphic designer and Senior Lecturer in Fashion Communication & Promotion at Nottingham Trent University. Her practice combines graphic design, cultural research, visual storytelling and trend forecasting, with a particular focus on shifts in culture, aesthetics and audience behaviour. Together, they bring strategic thinking and creative intuition to brands looking to define their place, sharpen their voice and create a world people want to be part of.
